BYRON’S FITBREAK fitness RETREATS
Participants of Fitbreak’s first health and fitness retreat at Byron Luxury Beach Houses for group accommodation not only returned home with essential life skills but also picture-perfect memories of Byron Bay.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off our retreats,” said Fitbreak founder Jarrad Sullivan, who was born in Byron and now resides on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. “We had stunning weather, amazing food, and our guests really enjoyed the planned sessions and activities.”
Training with a former professional surfer and Jetts NSW Personal Trainer of the Year certainly has its advantages. Fitbreak guests experience a personalised approach to health and fitness, with the four-day schedule designed to harness the benefits of outdoor training in one of the world’s most picturesque landscapes. From beach circuits and mountain bike sessions to hiking up majestic Wollumbin Mt Warning, Jarrad takes participants to different locations each day.
There was also plenty of delicious food options, be it fresh pressed juices and protein shakes made locally by Bare Blends, in-house private dining by Grapevine, and dinner at Byron’s best restaurants (in this case St Elmo Dining Room & Bar).
“Everyone had a couple of hours of downtime each day where they swam at the beach, read books on the daybed, or walked into town to shop or, for one retreat guest, have a haircut,” Jarrad says. “As a venue, Byron Luxury Beach Houses was very functional, spacious, relaxing and private. We loved all the mod cons to use in our down time as well as being able to relax by the pool. It is very close to Belongil Beach and only a short walk to the town centre.”
